The five soul ladies, power women, cheeky brats and stage goddesses lend the a cappella genre a new voice, or rather five new voices. With their own songs, well-known soul hits and modern catchy tunes, they cast a spell over the audience. With their voices alone, the five singers create a sound that comes pretty close to that of an instrumental band.
Die Beatboxerin Lilly (eine der wenigen BeatboxerINNEN Europas) verleiht jedem Arrangement einen fetten Beat. Stimmkünstlerinnen Juci Janoska, Nina Braith aka Inana und Ursi Wögerer aka Miss Bunpun erzeugen unter anderem Sounds, die durch Mund, Nase, Lippen und technische Soundeffekte gefiltert und entfremdet werden. Alle 3 sind stimmgewaltige Solistinnen, die auf der Bühne die Sau rauslassen, abrocken, berühren und das Publikum zum Mitsingen animieren. Bassistin Mira schwingt nicht nur gekonnt das Tanzbein sondern grooved, unterstützt durch einen Octaver, in den tiefsten Tiefen einer weiblichen Stimme.
The band puts particular emphasis on show elements, such as groovy and captivating choreography and dance interludes. From cool jeans outfits to glittering sequins, the girls have everything in their closet to make a concert unforgettable. A special treat is their neon show with UV light, in which they light up the audience with their universe-style and glowing body painting.

Our Story
BEAT POETRY CLUB - Female a-capella Soul is a female a-capella band from Vienna that was founded in 2012. From the very beginning, artistic standards were very important to the five women and so they decided to perform exclusively their own songs and arrangements. In addition to numerous concerts at home and abroad, they have also won various competitions:
Golden Diploma beim internationalen A-capella Wettbewerb „Vokal Total” 2015, Sonderpreis beim „German A-cappella-Contest“ 2016 für Sounddesign, 1. Platz 2016 beim „A capideo Videowettbewerb”, 1.Platz beim Songwriting Wettbewerb „Gebt uns Songs“ vom Deutschen Chorverband 2016, Semifinale bei der ORF-Castingshow “Die Große Chance der Chöre”. 2023 gewinnt BPC den 2. Platz des internationalen A-capella Wettbewerbs in Ulm und 2025 den 1. Platz der Kategorie „Augmented“ in Graz bei VOKAL.TOTAL & ein goldenes Diplom plus den Sonderpreis für die „Beste Rhythmsection“.
In the fall of 2017, the 5 power women released their first studio album "We Talked All Night", which exclusively contains their own songs. The album was produced by none other than producer Zebo Adam (Bilderbuch and many more). The modern and special kind of a-capella that characterizes BEAT POETRY CLUB is supported by technical equipment such as loop station and octaver and effects such as flanger, distortion ect. Not only the artistic aspect is very important to the singers of BEAT POETRY CLUB, but also music education.
Neben Workshops und Einzelstunden zum Thema “Stimme, A-capella, Beatboxing, Performance” treten sie auch immer wieder in Schulen und sozialen Einrichtungen auf mit einem Hauptaugenmerk auf die Interaktion mit dem Publikum. Ein eigens konzipiertes und komponiertes “Mitmach A-capella-Musiktheaterstück” für Kinder (Gespensterklänge) wurde erstmalig im Herbst 2017 im Rahmen der Jeunesse in verschiedenen Schulen in ganz Österreich aufgeführt. 2022 Release des A-capella Hörspiels „Das Plastikmonster“ mit Aufführungsserie im Theater Akzent 2023. 2024 & 2025 erweitert BPC das Kinder-Repertoire mit dem szenischen Konzert „Dschungelparty“ für Kinder von 4-10 Jahre.
