About Us
The five soul ladies, power women, cheeky brats and stage goddesses lend the a cappella genre a new voice, or rather five new voices. With their own songs, well-known soul hits and modern catchy tunes, they cast a spell over the audience. With their voices alone, the five singers create a sound that comes pretty close to that of an instrumental band.
Beatboxer Lilly (one of the few female beatboxers in Europe) adds a fat beat to every arrangement. Vocal artists Juci Janoska, Nina Braith aka Inana and Ursi Wögerer aka Misses U create sounds that are filtered and distorted by mouth, nose, lips and technical sound effects. All three are powerful-voiced soloists who let their hair down on stage, rock out, touch and encourage the audience to sing along. Bassist Mira not only skilfully swings her dancing leg but also grooves, supported by an octaver, in the deepest depths of a female voice.
The band puts particular emphasis on show elements, such as groovy and captivating choreography and dance interludes. From cool jeans outfits to glittering sequins, the girls have everything in their closet to make a concert unforgettable. A special treat is their neon show with UV light, in which they light up the audience with their universe-style and glowing body painting.
Beat Poetry Club guarantees a breathtaking performance, adapted to every event.
Whether the audience wants to sing along, dance along or simply enjoy, the soul ladies hit the right note for every situation.

The album was produced by none other than producer Zebo Adam (Bilderbuch and many more). The modern and special kind of a-capella that characterizes BEAT POETRY CLUB is supported by technical equipment such as loop station and octaver and effects such as flanger, distortion ect. Not only the artistic aspect is very important to the singers of BEAT POETRY CLUB, but also music education.
In addition to workshops and individual lessons on the subject of "voice, a cappella, beatboxing, performance", they also regularly perform in schools and social institutions with a focus on interaction with the audience. A specially conceived and composed "join-in a cappella music theater piece" for children (Gespensterklänge) was performed for the first time in autumn 2017 as part of Jeunesse in various schools throughout Austria. 2022 release of the a-capella audio drama "Das Plastikmonster," followed by a series of performances at Theater Akzent in 2023.
